Now that everything is figured out, that means things are peachy.

Not exactly. The ideological divide between the U.S. and Russia led to not only a divide between these two countries but a divide around the world between Communism and Democracy.

Open up these slides and take a look at the map. The Iron Curtain is an ideological divide between those countries that support Russia and those that support the USA. Your assignment is to pick four countries (two from one side and two from the other), determine their type of government and economy in 1945 and whether it is the same today. Wroth 2 points.
